March intentions: build consistency

March Intentions: Build Consistency

Consistency isn’t about being perfect—it’s about showing up, even when you don’t feel like it. This month, let’s focus on small, intentional actions that build momentum over time. Whether it’s with your health, your mindset, or your daily routine, every step counts.

Here’s how we’re making consistency a habit in March:

1. Move Daily

Movement doesn’t have to be complicated or intense—it just has to be consistent. Dedicate at least 10 minutes a day to walking, stretching, or working out. Small, steady actions lead to big transformations over time. Need motivation? Think about how you feel after moving—energized, accomplished, and ready to take on the day! If you need help with a boost of energy in the morning to get you going you can try drinking lemon water, apple cider vinegar and water or Pruvit Ketones to give you that energy boost you might need.

2. Meal Prep Weekly

Staying on track is easier when you have a plan. Take time each week to:
Plan your meals so you’re never left wondering what to eat.
Prep ingredients ahead to make cooking quick and stress-free.
Keep keto-friendly snacks on hand to avoid temptation.
The goal is to make healthy eating effortless so you can stay consistent without overthinking it and end up making poor food choices (and regretting it later).

3. Track Your Progress

You can’t improve what you don’t track! Write down your habits—whether it’s a food journal, a fitness tracker, or a simple checklist. Seeing your progress helps you stay motivated and adjust as needed. And remember: showing up is worth celebrating—even if it’s not perfect!

4. Stay Hydrated

Water is essential for weight loss, digestion, and overall health. Make it a goal to:
💧 Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning.
💧 Carry a water bottle with you to sip throughout the day.
💧 Add electrolytes if you’re following keto to stay balanced. (I only use Saltt Electrolytes from Keto Chow
Small daily actions lead to better hydration habits over time!

5. Prioritize Sleep

A consistent sleep schedule is key for weight loss, energy, and mental clarity. Try to:
🌙 Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
🌙 Create a relaxing nighttime routine (limit screens, dim the lights, unwind). Screens release blue light that disrupts your body's natural sleep cycle.
🌙 Aim for at least 7 hours of quality sleep.
Your body recovers and resets when you’re well-rested—so don’t underestimate the power of sleep!

6. Practice Mindful Eating

Eating with awareness helps prevent overeating and emotional eating. Build the habit by:
🍽️ Sitting down to eat without distractions.
🍽️ Paying attention to hunger and fullness cues.
🍽️ Slowing down and savoring your meals.
Consistency in mindful eating helps you develop a better relationship with food.

7. Set Daily Intentions

Intentions help guide your focus and mindset for the day. Each morning, ask yourself:
✨ What’s one thing I want to accomplish today?
✨ How do I want to show up for myself and others?
✨ What’s one action I can take to stay consistent with my goals?
Journaling or even saying your intentions out loud can help reinforce them!

8. Limit Negative Self-Talk

Being kind to yourself is just as important as any other habit. Build the habit of:
💭 Catching and reframing negative thoughts.
💭 Celebrating small wins, no matter how small.
💭 Speaking to yourself like you would to a friend.
Your mindset affects everything—so make sure the way you talk to yourself supports your goals!

Let’s Build Consistency Together!

This month is about progress, not perfection. What’s one small habit you’ll commit to in March? I'd love to cheer you on.

Stay consistent, stay strong, and let’s make this month amazing!
